DIY Pine Cone Wreath
Come autumn, the pine cones start to fall from the trees and litter the streets. I think they make gorgeous, natural decorations and, having collected plenty, I was inspired to create a simple but beautiful pine cone wreath.
To make this wreath, you will need a wire coat hanger, wire and pinecones. It may also be helpful to have a set of pliers to help creating the shape, and wire cutters for cutting the wire.

The first step is to bend the hanger into a circular shape. Once you have a shape you like, take the floral wire and cut it into pieces about 7″ long – wrap this around the pine cone and twist until secure. Then take the wire and wrap it around the coat hanger.

Do this until the coat hanger is covered. Then it is ready to be hung, using the hook of the hanger.

This was such a fun DIY to complete and I’m so happy with how my wreath came out, using the most simple of materials.
